Let’s build it out of bones! I went to Kutna Hora (not far from Prague) to see the famous church made out of bones. We also saw St. Barbara’s Church (not made out of bones) and had a fantastic lunch at a local pub. I tried the local beer they make in the town (which sadly I cannot remember the name of) and it was the best beer I’ve ever had. Normally I’m not such a big beer fan and I stick to whiskey, but this stuff blew me away. I wish I could get more of it!

Prague is a very fun city with an interesting mix of old and new. It’s hard to describe it in a way to do it justice, so here are some pictures from the city:

The fireworks show in Prague is pretty much provided by the attendees. There are lots of stores selling fireworks and people just shoot them off in the middle of the street. Old Town Square was pretty much a warzone around midnight! It was packed full of people shooting fireworks off, people were diving out of the way to dodge the explosions, and everyone was yelling at each other in different languages and nobody had any idea what the others were saying. In short, it rocked.

There is a really fun bar not far from Old Town Square called Harley’s. They’ve got reasonably priced drinks, fun music, and I met a lot of really cool people there.

Even though I was the farthest away from home that I’ve ever been, I felt very much at ease in Prague. Everyone was very friendly, most people spoke english very well, and there’s no shortage of things to do. I’d easily rank Prague as the coolest city I’ve ever visited.

I also got addicted to hot wine while I was there, that stuff is pretty awesome too.
